Mission Statement of the Washington County Fair Association, Inc

The purpose of this corporation is not for pecuniary profit. The object is to advance and improve agriculture, domestic science, horticulture, animal husbandry and the marketing of farm products in Washington County, Iowa and to promote agriculture generally by education, and to promote the improvement of agricultural products, livestock, articles of domestic industry, implements and other mechanical devices, and to encourage advancements and proficiency in relation to the above purposes by suitable prizes, premiums and awards in recognition thereof and to construct such facilities in Washington Township, Washington County, Iowa, as are needed to promote the purposes of the corporation.
